Took a trip to fish lake over the weekend with the family. mostly went just to do some camping but of course had to so some fishing too. Loaded up the canoe and brought the rods and gear. Trout fishing was ok. Not the best time of year for trout fishing but managed to catch a few. It was best in the morning and evening. Trolled homemade wedding rings all different depths with a little worm on the end. Dad and I caught our limits the first day all fish 8-12 inches. Same the second day. Most groups of people only coming in with a few fish. Both days there were a couple 4-8 pound triploids brought in. one guy caught an 8lb er on powerbait and same with other guys. also caught a bunch of perch most of which about 8 inches. not the best fishing but had lots of fun.
