I can tell you that some big largemouth bass live in that lake. You are targeting them at the wrong time of year. Spring (pre and post spawn) is the ticket to those monsters. I'm a fly fisherman so my tactics are a bit different from the gear slingers. Low and s l o o w is the method. This time of year your only shot is first light or last light.

8/7/2008 10:26:00 AMHave you tried Larson Lake right next door? Check out the reports for it. Tnj8222 caught both LMB and crappie there. Pretty decent-sized bass.
