Report is for 8-7-08. Took my little livingston out about 6:30 last night. Armed with a olive wooley bugger on my spinning rod i slow trolled straight out from the launch to the middle of the lake. I didn't get a fish for the first hour or so. I decided to stop trolling and just relax a little, any wouldn't ya know, i got my first bite. Ended up catching 3 trout. One cutthroat about 8 inches and two rainbows around 14. All fish caught on the olive wooley bugger and were all released. They were all kinds of fish rising so a fly fisherman was out there that knew what he was doing, he would have done real well. I will definitely be visiting this lake again. Also the wildlife was awesome. I saw 5 deer and an osprey get two fish while i was there. On the way out i saw some elk on the road.
