Last night, around 8 pm, my son and I went to Lake Sawyer. We trolled around for a while on calm water, with a light breeze. The temperature was in the mid 70s. On the south end of the quiet lake, we trolled for Kokanee. No luck. We could see fish surfacing. According to the fish finder they were posted at 16 to 30 feet below. Still no luck. Decided to head back and my son mentioned he wanted to bass fish. We switched over to crank baits. He was using a white one and mine was black and blue. Nearing the last house by the boat launch, he landed an 8 in, good sized, small mouth bass...and we called it a night.
first picture; last night, bit blurry.
next picture; another bass, from Lake Meridian, on the NW side near the dock, under the slide. Blue spinner rooster tail.
