Never fished Beaver before, but after fishing Sammamish quite a bit and dealing with jetskiers, thought I'd try something a little different.

After struggling to find the launch, was fishing by 8:30 am. Was trying to find perch, but found everything else! Ended up catching 10 perch (nothing over 7"), 3 dink LMB, and 2 trout (1 of which was 16 inches). Pulled the boat out at 1:30pm.

Does anyone know if the perch fishing is good or not or is everything stunted? It's a beautiful and peaceful lake, but I'm looking to put fish in the freezer. Maybe earlier in the year is better when the H2O temp isn't so high?

I live over by Beaver and fish it often, the best times I'v had for perch is pre-spawn, they really bunch up in the shallows, you were correct and thinking everything is stunted(perch wise) I never catch anything over 8", I wish more people would fish for them in there and keep them, they're great eating:)

There are two other lakes that connect to the main lake. At the very far end, there is a channel to get between the lakes, and I pick up some nice 9-11 inchers in there. They'll hit anything trolled. I found out when I was bass fishing and I left my lizard in the water by accident, put the motor on speed one to maneuver through the branches and a perch hit. I've caught them on about five different plastic baits besides the lizard (all bass baits).

I was there just last weekend shore fishing. I caught 8 perch in an hour. Biggest was about 8". Use worms/bobber and cast at the edge of the lilypads.

Kutthroatkilla, I live in Juanita and would love to find a reliable area that produces keeper perch on the north end of the lake Wash. Can you help a brother out? I don't have the boat for cruising all over the place. Would love to find a spot near the Kenmore/Slough launch or even the Kirkland launch.
