A few fish today, Nice SM from John at about 9am. A few Crappie with a couple big ones mixed in. Slowed up from us after 1pm. Put in at the DNR and fished that area. Most fish we caught in about 15' of water. Jigs and power bait worms on the bottom.

We have been catching quite a few Crappie at around 16"s in that area. (that one being 16")
We have been fishing that area alot due to the fact the our 6hp motor is in need of repair.
So we are just using the trolling motor for now. We sure have learned that area of the lake pretty well. Not by choice :-)
See ya on the lake and Good Fishing

Oh, don't take me wrong. We would still fish this area a lot, it's been good to us.
We plan on hitting Willow Bay and down below Suncrest when we get the motor fixed.
But we really wanted to also hit the Pend Orielle River to go after some Northern Pike.
Anytime, Anywhere on any Lake is a great time when I'm out with the kids.
Good Fishing
