Today only gets a 2 but the trip was a 5.
This lake is still C&R only and single barbless hooks.
The morning started around 5am for some lake trout. Using many different spoons,Johnson Silver Minnows,Dick Nite..etc.
We took a pair of pliers and filed down the barb. Began marking fish between 30ft-120ft. No takers today.
The weather was a little rainy at times with a few lighting strikes on Storm King mountain.
It was great to be back on my old stomping grounds.

Spoke with a Park Ranger for a little 'bit. He too had heard the rumors of walleyes in here. Trust me folks,I'm not telling you they are there but this rumor has been around since I was a kid but no one ever has pics of them.
