8/20/2008 7:16:00 AMNice looking perch.........2 years ago on the south side off the lake, I was doing my best to stay away from the jetskiers and obvious I wasn't paying enough attention to them cause they kept getting closer to me and my boat was rocking pretty good and then all of a sudden my rod bowed over and I was thinking snagged in the weeds. Turned out a 14 3/4 perch and later caught 2 more over 12in. Great eating fish.......you should be proud!!

8/20/2008 7:19:00 AMIf it is windy, or you cant seem to put a senko where you want it, put a slip sinker on before the hook. This helps take it down to the bottom, which is especially helpful for those bass under the docks. Weightless is nice, but sometimes difficult, depending on the circumstances. 8/23/2008 10:39:00 PMStevens is loaded with fish -- smallmouth, largemouth, triploids, kokanee, and a crap-load of perch. But for some reason, it doesn't get much attention from fishermen. Hmm... might be because there are always a grillion ski boats & jet skis zooming around during summer months. That and the fact that the boat launches are always VERY busy on weekends...
