Went to Lake Washington under I-90 bridge after work today. Casted around and got about 4 perches. Stayed late and caught 2 catfishes. Pretty good day! And around 9:30pm, I was about to take off so I had my last cast....

Then the rod went down pretty hard, at first I thought its a big catfish and this guy was pretty heavy, too. While fighting it, I can see its pretty long.... lucky someone on the dock had a net. So we got the fish in and it was a 5.5lb, 18inch smallmouth bass!!

It was totally a surprise! I never thought I will catch small mouth bass this size. Not with nightcrawers???! This was definitely the biggest bass I ever had. Thanks for Corey, Nick, Don and Michael helping out in the dock to assist me getting this fish in.
