Hello,
Got the oppurtunity to take fellow Chapter 57 member Cody out to fish today. Saturday. Hit the lake 6;30 ish. I needed to get Codeman over a Tiger. Lake was nice...Hit a Tiger around 8 am...30 incher on the nose!! A lady at one of the houses asked us to take it to another part of the lake and let it go..think she had live bait..a small pooch of some sort. Anyway fished hard till 11:30 am didn't see a fish. Then latched into this nice 46 incher. 19 inches around... solid fish!!
MY PERSONAL BEST...
She hit twice. Took a swing just above a weed bed...NEVER SLOW DOWN your retrieve. Then she followed to the boat. Stuck the rod down in the water did a big circle and she hit it at the boat. Set the hook and Codeman...Heck of a net guy... netted her, photo'd and let her go...Sahweet day for fishing!! All I gotta say is Mepps Musky Killers Freegin' Rule..Thanks for looking..
