Hit the lake solo at 6-12 tried topwater then dropshot,decided to start searching new grounds,found a nice 9'-12' flat surrounded with steep drop to 40' and 25' about 100'from shore.Decided what better time to throw a swimbait"This ones for you BB"5" castaic swimbait mimics a koke kinda,got a few ticks a couple thumps"mind you this is my first time actually throwing one of these to catch something ;-)"about 10 min into chucking this countdown was 8-10sec started reeling in got about half way back reeling very slow and BAM pole was bent over and the fight was on.I instantly got excited not even knowing what was on the other end fought it out and i prevailed the winner.Weighed in on my scale at 3-14 tagged put it in well,got a few more hits on the swimmer but nothing hooked up.Caught 9 for the day 8 on dropshot biggest in the pic.Hmmm might become a chucker myself.Tight lines
