Went out for about the 6th here in the last 3 weeks. Taking the 5 year old out to catch him some fish. Using green power bait about 75 feet off shore from the red barn casting toward the park. Each time we've gone out he's caught an average of 5 fish. Biggest being 17" 2lb rainbow. What a hoot seeing him reel those fish in. Had to keep 2 fish each time we went out cause they swallowed the hooks and i couldn't get them out in time. Fish were taken home and eaten right away. Would recommend this lake to anyone. Just don't use powerbait unless you plan on keeping em cause the like to swallow em deep. Also went out with my fishing partner and tried some night fishin' for bass. Had one on but lost it.
