I was on the water right before 11a. I noticed several nice trout surfacing to feed. My normal secret honey hole was occupied by a nice family. I patiently waited. I tried fishing for some bass in the meantime, ended up catching 2 small dinks along the shoreline.. Finally, my spot was free. I was using a casting-bobber, 6 feet of leader with 2 pound test and a size 14 mosquito dry fly tipped w/a maggot..I would cast out pretty far and wait til the rings disappeared and slowly reel in..When the trout hit, they absolutely slammed my fly...Using light tackle makes the battle sweet. I really had to play these fish and the biggest one really made my reel sing..I ended up limiting out under an hour and half. The one pictured was the biggest and the smallest was 13.5. The lake was pretty crowded and didn't see too many fish being caught even from people fishing from the dock...Great day to be on the lake on a nice day off-
