9/3/2008 10:37:00 PMheeeeeyyyyyy. Isn't that what Fonz says when he enters the room! Most of the tigers I have personally seen will follow your bait up to the boat and just kinda hang out. That must be why the boat side figure 8 works so well. Even when I have drawn one out of the deep water, they just swim lazily by and really do not care about you or the boat. You would have to ask Rosann G about catching a tiger by the tail...

9/5/2008 9:27:00 AMUsually when we see tigers either swimming on the top of the water, very near shore in the shallows or even just cruising around, they are not interested in feeding. The best thing to do is make a note of the area the fish was in and fish it later. We have even seen fish several times swimming on the top of the water with their heads actually out of the water as if to look around! No one I have talked with knows why they do this. All I know is that they are never interested in feeding and I have fears that many inexperienced fisherman may accidentally snag them while trying to get them to bite. They will cast near the fish and if the fish spooks, it may run into the line or bait and get snagged. Not a very safe, legal or respectable method of fishing. Just enjoy the mystery and beauty of these tigers doing their odd behavior but please leave them alone and come back to the area later on. Just my personal opinion that I think would be shared by many of our Chapter 57 members. Ski

9/10/2008 2:27:00 AMhey guys a note on SKI's note up there. a week or so ago we where going for smallies and we pulled into a pocket I flipped my 3.5 inch tube out not payin any mind saw a very big tiger doing just that .well daggum thing had my tube! clean lip hook I fought that fish for 30min. on 8# test but just could not get it out of the weeds.....pop goes my line. I still have not got one yet but to feel the power of these things on my bass poll is very sexy!
