What a Day! We caught and released over 150 perch in a 2-1/2 hour period. Went out Saturday Morning with Tom Pollack and two other members of the local fishing clubs supporting the KAST for Kids program for disadvantaged children. We fished Lake Washington out of Gene Coulon Park in Renton. All the fishing gear, poles, reels, tackle box, bait were furnished. Auburn Marine supplied a couple of party barges that would handle eight people with no problem. Recreational fisherman supplied an additional 15 or so other boats. The kids had a great time, but I don't think they had any better time than their older fishing partners (That's us of course). What a great program for our area. My hat is off to the KAST for Kids organization, and all the others who volunteered their boats, their time and their $$. They were absolutely outstanding.

No doubt CanMan,
I was out there too! We were just on the north side of the new Seahawk facility. We got about 30 fish all around 6-10 inches. The kids kept 6 I got to go home with a dozen. Jim Owens runs a top notch program. C.A.S.T. is a excellent way to help the disabled and disadvantaged youth in the area. My group came all the way from Grandview to participate.The kids were really good and the sister out fished her little brother. Nothing better than seeing the kids' light up when they pull in a fish!!

Very positive! I would love to take these guys fishing. And anybody else for that matter . Always looking for a new fishing body. Got a nice new boat and mass gear and looking forward to hanging out on the water .
