Went fishing with my youngest daughter today. Got to long lake at about 10:30 and left at 12:30. fishing was good today fishing deep structure and caught my biggest fish of 5.7lbs. on a black and blue jig n pig, pig being yammamoto flapping hog cut halfway down. Caught other fish on dropshot rig, zara spook, and t rigged senko. Caught a decent 2 lber and the rest were dinks. I set the hook on a dink and handed the pole to my daughter and she reeled it in like a pro. I have learned that if I take both kids they fight, but one at a time they have a blast.

When I caught the hawg I automatically told my daughter to grab the net. She just gave me a blank look. Then I realized better I do it anyway. Had to get the bass in quick due to the cover I was fishin. All in all it was a good day for only fishing 2 hours. Came up with about 8 bass and 2 rock bass. Daughter was happy and slept all the way home. Sorry about the pic of the hawg, I was by myself and using the timer!

Sure you are sorry about the hawg picture...Looks like your camera comes with a "Long Arm Size Enhancer". Just kidding. Two hours and that is what you produce, I can't wait to see what an all day trip can do. I agree with the single kid fishing trip, my two boys will fight tooth and nail.
