I hit Panther again this morning after fishing it yesterday afternoon/evening with fishnislife. We caught a few during high tide on crankbaits and crawdad imitators, so I wanted to come back early without the constant drone of the jetskis and motorboats. I was a beautiful morning--flat calm water and no other boats in sight. Not a lot of fish though. Just a couple trout and short bass on a Strike King crankbait and a couple more shorts on a Fat Ika (several more bites and misses on the Ika, too). The other reason I came back today was that I accidentally dropped my terminal tackle box over the side of my kayak yesterday and wanted to see if I could find it. I beached my boat, stripped down and swam out for it yesterday, but couldn't find it in the waning light and all the stirred up silt. Fishnislife even joined in the search soon after I went in, but to no avail. But when I came back this morning, I cruised over the approximate location and lo, and behold, there it was, half buried in the silt in 5 feet of water. This time I marked it with a buoy and after beaching my boat again, it was an easy find (I remembered to bring my diving mask as well), though the water was pretty chilly at 10am. So, I saved probably about $40 worth of tungsten weights, hooks, shaky head jigs, spinnerbait blades, and other terminal tackle. All in all, a good day on the water, though the fishing could have been better.

Where was your spear-gun? lol, At least you found it. Last time I was there I missed one that was at least eight or better. She was on the N end under a log in shallow water you should know where it is good luck next time.
