Hit the lake with BB of course but today we had an addition to the squad.I got to the boat launch first while waiting on BB and company so I decided to cast along the docks while I waited. Started cranking along the dock expecting not to catch anything but out of no where I ended up hooking into a 1 pound smallie. My hopes were up for having a good day on the lake but that soon changed when BB arrived. We headed out to our usual spots with not much action at all. We decided to head north to try some different areas when all of a sudden BB hooks into a fish it was a nice sized perch. From then on every tenth cast he made he came up with a fish he was on fire today. I started trolling a little further north when BB hooks into another fish except this one seemed to be allot bigger then a perch he fought it for about ten seconds and all of a sudden the fish jumps it was a nice sized smallie that showed himself and spit the lure out at the same time it looked to be in the three pound range.

Headed further north and I still couldn't catch a fish if it jumped up and hit me in the hands...............LOL while trolling north and BB still nailing perch we decided to hit the 520 bridge. We trolled up to the bridge with the trolling motor on 5 so we were moving pretty good when out of no where again BB yells out stop the boat I got a big one. he almost got this one to the boat but, at the speed we were trolling the fish was barely hooked. It looked to be in the 4 pound range when he got off and swam away. If you know BB he isn't in the greatest mood at this time and too make things a little worse I make a rookie mistake and cast while he is casting our poles hit each other and he gets a birds nest from hell on his new bait-caster. After my long lecture about this mistake we decided to call it a day because he was tired of catching fish while I was playing in the water........LOL all in all it was another fun day on the lake.............TIGHT LINES!!!!!!!!!


Oh yeah I forgot I hate getting skunked on a boat!!!!!
