Had to run out to the property to take care of the yard etc.
I had no intentions of fishing and lacked decent gear. However,made a sudden decision to fish Lost Lake. Went into
the shed and grab whatever gear was in their over the years.Grabbed a rod,a few spoons,bobbers and then started digging for a few worms. Got on the water around 9AM,the weather was overcast with high wind gusts.
I casted and trolled spoons with no luck.Then tried for anything with fins...with the worm and bobber. Still no luck,not even a nibble. I ended up talking with a homeowner for awhile. He said the fishing has been hit and miss.
I preached the gospel of Washington Lakes among other things.
Off the water by noon, with clear sunny skies but still heavy wind gusts.
Still a great trip regardless of the fishing
