Took my good friend Josh on the lake today in hope of some large bucketmouth. But instead the day turned into a trout fest. So after around 3 hours we had only put 3 largemouth in the boat. Biggest was 1/2 a pound. So we decided to start trolling for trout in the main lake and sure enough we were trolling right on the bottom with pop gear and plugs and proceeded to Catch 3. Lose 3 in the next hour. The three we landed were two 14 inchers and a 15 and the ones we lost were two 18's and a 17. But it was nice to put some trout in the boat this early when the water is still warm. The pic is off the biggest trout we landed. All fish were released.
