went out to ballinger all day from 8:30ish to 615: p.m. had no luck only caught was a perch, and several bites from perch and a bite hella far. 80 yards out possibly!

This is one of the largest perch I have ever seen how much did it weigh you might have a state record on your hands hope you took it to a certified scale fish is huge.

That lure sticking out fromthe perch's mouth isn't a hook and worm! I fish that lake all the time and if you left your bait on the bottom out 80 yards it would sink into the mud! I think this post was just something to show off a big old perch caught on the internet! Perch in Ballinger are 6" or less also! Fishingboy strikes again!

the top one i caught i mostly used worms but also witched to bass jigs!
bottom pic is some guy who caught that perch from lake wahington not ballinger
