Day started out trolling. Samish 1 Basstard 0
Noticed a couple guys out there hitting the lillies and docks decided hey maybe there on to something. So a buddy and I ran over to some docks started fishing. Nothing. so I changed from a lure to a worm and bobber.. NOTHING .. Took the bobber off and went all Montana on this lake. I threw a couple split shots on and a worm and cast and reeled. Got several hits and they robbed me blind. Did this a few more times till I got sick of chumming with worms. We both put spoons on and the catching began. Mostly 8+ inch cuts and rainbows. This wasn't every cast but probably 1 in 10 would be my guess. This happened for a while till I got the 15" then the rain and wind picked up and we went home.
Excellent day. Didn't get water temp but it was cold enough for them to be in the shallows.
