I packed me ,my son and some hot coco and showed up around 6:00 while it was dark. It was really windy and cold yesterday morning and I just wanted one more Bass for the year. I struck out all last weekend and I am chalking that up to the chemicals that they use to control the weeds? Anyhow I was on the Fishing Dock and threw out my 5" Green Sinko and slowly drug it across the bottom around the edge of the Lilly Pads and then Bang!!!! I got a 8.82 Pound Large Mouth Bass within five minutes!!! The biggest one I have ever caught. I caught some this summer ranging from 1-3 pounds but this one is probably the catch of a life time for me. I took some pictures and put him back in so dont give up quiet yet. I have been reading about Bass and watching all of the Bass master I can and they all say that you can still get them in the winter just slow it down and be patient.This is my first year that I have been Bass fishing and I will definitely be going by Cabellas and ready for some more fishing.
