got this brute around 5 p.m. trolling a perch rapala. My second this season. The first was Sunday and only around 30" in length. When I got back to my dock, there was a larger Muskie hanging around under the dock, but spooked him with the boat, otherwise, he would've been mine! All fish are released safely back to their home. The bass bite has slowed with the colder water temps. That's all folks!

thanks all, for your comments! All I can say is. "it's about time!" I usually fish at least 3 times a week on Tapps and wouldn't you know it, I get lucky right at the end of the season. The lake is really going down now and Nov. 1st it'll start falling like a rock. Time to get the boat out, but not before another weekend of Muskie fishing. Hold on...Rufus Woods is on the phone :)
