Me and Marc hit the water at 9:00 am and fished until dark. It was a good day to be on the water the wind wasn't bad and the sun was warm the water a little cool. Started out with jigs , plastic worms, crank baits no fish to show then around 4:30 pm tied on a big strike king spinner bait white and blue and the second cast caught the only fish of the day. She went 4.6 lbs. Tossed her back to grow some more and headed back to the boat launch before dark. The lake is so big we couldn't fish all of it or my best spot. We'll be back to this Lunker haven and try for more until then good luck out there.

Nice one Trent! And, nice photos showing a nice flat water surface. Mason has always been a tough lake for me. Tight lines, BJ

Of all the lakes around us in Kitsap and Mason this lake just might have the new state record LMB swimming around. A home owner on the lake told us that there were some BIG ones right off his dock that his kids were scared of swimming there. I thought that was cool to let us know there were Hawgs at his dock some people let you know this and others are just as tight lipped as the fish were after. Mason is so clear that is hard to get bit. The lake has some large bass and you can see them going from dock to dock. We are just hard headed and try for them any ways.

Well done Trent. Its good to see this lake is producing quality bass. I fish here all the time but never get hawgs like that. We'll have to meet up
here when the weather warms again. Great report too!
