My friend and I fished out of my boat from about 2:00pm - 5:00pm. We mainly fished worms under a float. I tried a small spinnerbait but had no luck on that.

The first fish came from a worm under a float for my friend and it was a squaw. I had a bite shortly after but wasn't paying attention and missed it. We moved spots and I switched to a chartreuse maribu jig with a piece of worm on the tip and proceeded to catch the bass in the pic. Not huge by any means but it was large for this lake/swamp/pond.

We moved to a different spot and my friend caught a beautiful cutthroat of about 13". The cutthroat makes a confirmed 9 different species I have caught/seen in this lake.

We moved again and my friend had a bite but his line was tangled at the reel. I told him not to worry and to give me the end of his line. He did so and I pulled in his line until I felt tension and I gave a good solid tug. I hooked the fish and hand lined him in and it was a nice little 14" largemouth. We didn't catch anything more after that.

Good day on the water even though we didn't catch any crappie.

I was just curious as to what those nine species are? Bass, crappie, sunfish, perch, squawfish, cutthroat trout, catfish I'm guessing and not sure what else.

Largemouth bass, Crappie, Pumpkinseed Sunfish, Bluegill, Yellow Perch, Squaw, Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, and also some kind of sucker I haven't identified yet.

I have heard that there are some decent sized catfish in here as well but I have not targeted or caught one yet. So I don't know if or what kind of catfish are in here. If there are catfish in here that would make 10 different species (assuming there where only one species of catfish/bullhead), which is a lot for this tiny of a lake.

Thanks for that info. I've only given this lake a shot once and I didn't get much. I love the variety though so I'm going to check it out again sometime. Kind of reminds me of Shadow Lake near Clearview that I fish a lot. That is also a very small lake with big variety. Out of Shadow I have caught or seen largemouth bass, crappie, pumpkinseed, yellow perch, cutthroat trout, bullhead catfish, squawfish, suckers, and silver salmon (I assume from the Snohomish River flooding).
