Got to fish Silver today. Water temp at public launch at 7:30 in morning was 50 degrees and at 2:30 in the afternoon temp was 53 degrees.Water was from green algae floating on top to partly clear for this lake. Best bait used was a swimming jig in black blue color. Fish were found on logs in deeper water but only wanted the lure crisscrossing the log. Weight of larger fish 4lbs 8ozs and 3lbs 8ozs. (pictures). Got to watch both fish chase lure from one side of the log to the other. Day would have went lot better but had an outboard battery failure but was corrected by truck battery.
