The lake was very calm. Once in a while fish would break the surface. Tried fishing off the bottom with a slip weight for about an hour and then used a bobber with a weighted hook and power bait. No bites but I was having a good time. Rowed around with a dark Rooster tail until a lake resident fired up his powerboat and started to harass me and the only other boat out there. It was obvious from large wakes and full-throttle antics what he was up to. When I loaded up my boat profanities were heard- I think they came from the other guy's fishing- not sure.

I enjoy the usual serenity that accompanies fishing but I don't need the loud music, chainsaws, lawnmowers, traffic noise and now just plain rudeness that you find at Roesinger. In my opinion this lake is best left to the people that live there-

they can have it...

Sorry to hear Jake. I usually hit Roesiger a few times a year, and for the most part, always found it peaceful. But I guess I usually go in the winter. I thought they had like an 8 mph speed limit on that lake??? I have done ok on the trout with a RBT 7cm Suspending Rapala trolled at 1.5 mph down about 6-12ft. (may need to put a small splitshot or two about 24" in front of the lure to get it down there). Better luck next time.....
