Made the trek up to Rufus Woods with my brother Jake on Sunday. We launched in between net pens and were on the water at 7 am. We had little luck at the upper pens so we went down to the lower ones. We decided to rope up along the pen and jig at a depth of 8 to 20 feet. We used the black maribu jigs with a worm on them. My little brother caught a monster 14 pounder and it took him 15 minutes to get the thing in the boat. I don't know that I have ever screamed so hard when fishing but it was so exciting when the fish finally surfaced. I took video of the catch but I can't post it on this website cause we were swearing up a storm during the battle. I am going to dub some music over the video and try to post it at a later date.
