Saw this new hot spot report section and thought I would mark for new comers to the lake where the boat launch sites are at. Usually the resorts don't charge if your camping but if not check with resort for launch prices. Of course the public launch is free but some times you have to wait a little for this is a heavily fished lake and some times the line gets long you have to wait. Both resorts have docks for over night fisher persons to secure their boats for a quick get get away to your hot spot.
The pictures are from a earlier date which I called fuzzy face days which I had for 25 years. Both fish are from Silver lake the smaller fish I saw take the worm as it hit the water after i flipped it along some blow in weeds along a rip rap in 1 foot of water. Sorry couldn't give a new fishing report couldn't get the lure through the hard water on top of the lake (ICE!).
