I usually don't post reports for Rock Lake; because I am selfish and don't want anybody else to know about it. But...I will never fish anywhere else, this is why I cannot tell you any of my secrets on how I caught my monster brown trout. (Which is currently at the taxidermy shop now!) I can tell you that we were trolling and it was in the end of October, mid morning and there was a weather system coming. So, the bite was ON!! We started out being the only boat on the lake; and about the time I hooked him another boat attempted to weather the 2 foot white caps but gave up quickly! I didn't get the length but he was about 5 lbs. My biggest trout so far. We plan to go back out there this coming Monday the 13th of January; if the roads aren't still drifted shut. I apologize if the picture is fuzzy I am new to this whole uploading pictures thing! oops!
