Went out to Lewis Lake today to mainly work on using a jig. We fished from sunrise until around 2:00. No takers with anything today. Tried spinner bait with multiple colors, plastics and the jig (black/blue, black brown, watermelon) all with and without different trailers. It was a bit cold for most of the day but still an enjoyable out on the water and had to reset the drag when the ice froze up on the eyelets Once the sun burned through the fog in the early afternoon it was nice but it was also time to head back for home. Great practice on the baitcast reel though and much more fun than casting from the driveway.
