Just got back from Mexico a week ago. 12 days of 90 degree weather and sunshine but no fishing. Was hoping to go for steelies this week but have received some very dismal reports so i grabbed a tub of crawlers and headed to my carp hole on Washington. Now I'm not an avid carp angler but they always seem to cooperate and sometimes i just wanna catch some fish. ( Like this time of year.) Went twice and have had pretty good luck. Tough fishing when the slough is running like chocolate milk and swift but we pulled a few out anyway. Lots of fun. GL ppl

Care to elaborate on the location? I take it you're in the north end of the lake.

FloatTube1,

How do you fish for carp on LW? I'm very interested and looking for some fishing this time of year. Thanks

I've known for sometime that there were lots of carp in the big lake, but I have never really tried to catcvh them there. Once or twice a year I take visitors, who want to catch carp, to Eastern Washington to catch carp. It should would be cheaper to take them to Lake Washington. I'd appreciate any knowledge you'd care to share.

I've seen people catch carp and tench from the area between the dock and shore at logboom park in Kenmore in the spring , not sure if they around there this time of year.
