Fished from 2:30 till dark. Ryan and I in one boat, and secret squirrel in his boat. I started out trolling a small bit of power bait,Ryan used a worm. we made a couple passes along the east side of the lake with no bites. Secret was trolling something near the bottom and picked up a nice 14" fish almost immediately. Ryan and I switched to a bead headed fly and a small brown hot shot. nothing. we looked over to see secret net a second fish. this one was about 13.5". I have no idea what he was using and he was enjoying the fact that he was skunking us! we've all fished together for many years and it's a lot of fun when one of us is dialed in and the others can't seem to hook up.(unless you happen to be the one getting skunked!) LOL.. as the sun went down I went to a rapala and Ryan went back to a worm. as we trolled back toward the boat launch... Wham! I hooked a fish.it fought well and we netted a nice 13.5"er.no monsters today, but the water was beautiful,the eagle was perched on his limb,and it was nice to get out with good buds and go fishing. tight lines.
