Hit Kitsap about 8:00am and headed straight for the hole in-front of the navy park. First tried the powerbait which I have the most luck with on Kitsap yellow (corn scent) no luck and I switch to rainbow what a difference! Instantly caught 4 rainbows the biggest being 17inches but no others so I left about noon. Can't wait till mid-March when it really starts to pick up.

Great report Team Roper. Glad to hear you tagged some nice bows. It's always nice to see reports come in from our area. Keep'em coming. Did you get a chance to check the lake temp. and how clear was the water?

Good for you,I am glad to here someone is catching fish in Kitsap County.I went out on Long lake yesterday and did not get one in the boat. I was using a small plastic swiming bait and I had a chunky looking 10-12 Rainbow chase it to my boat and hit it but the hook was way to big. I tried working the shore and casting shallow and I threw everything in the takle box out their and got nothing. I tried trolling shallow and deep and not one hit. I was really windy on the lake yesterday and the rainbow who hit my line was shallow on the back side of a point in calm water. The water temperature at long lake was 38 degrees. I am waiting for Bass, I cannot handle watching any more Bass master it is killing me.
