I arrived at Harts Lake at 05:30 am only to find the boat house and the path to the dock where I was going to fish closed. The boat dock is open and no chainlink fence. There is a big chain link fence with barbed wire at the top. So I left and went to Silver Lake to fish (See Silver Lake fishing report). I came back to Harts Lake around 08:30 am and they were open. Nice person running the place and if you ask the guy, he will share good fishing information about the fishing at Harts lake. I fished until 11:00 am. I got one nibble, that was it. I fished with night crawlers, power bait:(green,red/yellow,etc.) and red eggs. I was dock fishing using the bottom up method and using a bobber. No luck. The water was very green with algae growth and with some other green stuff in the water. Another fisherman said that the week prior the lake was clear, not sure what happened this day. Oh well, will try again at this lake in the future.
