Headed out to Blackman's about 5:30 this morning. Was pretty chilly before the sun rose and surprisingly got colder after sunrise. No luck off the end of the fishing dock so casted about 10ft offshore. First cast, first bite. Fought with him for a couple minutes, got him to the surface before he took my hook and lure with him. Realized how cold it really was because I couldn't even tie another hook on. Threw out my other rig of a treble with eggs n' powerbait to no avail. Packed it up maybe 30 minutes later, truck said it was 24-25* out, no wonder I couldn't feel my toes or fingers. I'll be going back out there once it's above freezing.
