Lake Chelan still remains very good fishing for Laketrout above the Yacht Club and in the Lower trenches off Rocky Point..
I started the day off up in the "Abyss" above the Yacht Club targeting depths between 200ft and 385ft...Trolling at 1.4 to 1.6 mph was the best speed and pulling a T-4 Flatfish in the Purple Glow flavor seemed to work best..Boated 3 fish with the biggin tipping the scale at 14lb. 8 oz..The bite slowed so we pulled things in and headed for the lower part of the lake off Rocky Point and got into a good bite. The flavor here that was working the best was the Ace hi-fly in the green glow spatterback tipped with a fillet of Northern Pikeminnow trolling at 1.3 to 1.4 was the speed..Ended our 4 hours with 9 lakers..Thanks a lot to Greg Cloud and friend Bob Lemcke for a real enjoyable fishing trip..Feel free to call my cell# for questions or comments anytime...Joe Heinlen..1-509-393-9665..Lake Chelan and Rufus Woods Fishing Guide..darrellanddads.com.. Great looking fish Joe,
good to see you're yanking the big boys outta the depths.
Appreciate the reports.

Well Joe, me ole boat has popped a cork. so haven't been out lately.
Changed oil Last week, ran it in the driveway (water connector) and when I checked the level, it was over full. Drained about an extra gallon of milky fluid from her.
Other things going on right now, so will look into it in a couple three weeks or so.
Look forward to more of your reports.
Sharp hooks, tight lines, and grins.
