The second that I tossed my line in the water I had a fat trout on. I'm pretty new to this and I must be doing something wrong when I set the hook because I keep losing the fish after I hook them. The guy that I was fishing with today said that it's because I am using those small treble hooks with the spring on them. Anyway, I did manage to get this baby on the dock. I'm thinking it's about 2.5 - 3 pounds. This is probably my biggest catch since I started fishing about a month ago. I was only out for 2 hours and I got this fish and missed about 4 others. Shore fishing has been pretty good on Lake Stevens.
