So Lake Washington Smallies were on fire today. I have had a couple days were I caught more fish, but never this amount of quality. 6 fish total with the best 5 going at just over 20lbs.

Normally with bluebird skies and light wind from the north, doesn't bode well for fishing. But as the days get a little longer, the fish are starting to transition from real deep water, ( 35 to 65ft) to a more consistent 40 to 30ft now. They are starting to locate in the classic pre-spawn holding area's. Breaks with rock that are adjacent to the spawning flats.
I used a variety of baits and techniques. Drop shot for 2, rev rig for 2, and heavy leadheads with grubs for 2.
