Ellen and I went up to Tapps Wed afternoon and fished for a couple hours off the tip of dike 6, until she asked me where I wanted to move to and I said "the fire place at The Rock". She laughed and we packed it up. Picked up another bag and a half worth of trash just heading back to the truck.

It was cold and windy but the sun made it all worth while. We didn't catch anything, but I had a worm disappear off of my hook once. She was tossing a few different top water lures while I just tossed a worm and bobber out and let if float with the wind. I had never used a bait caster and had made it a point to start using one this year, so we took one for me to practice with. The worst rats nest I made only took a few yards of line to fix, but I wasn't casting very far, heavy thumbed I guess.

Must have passed right by you guys...I was on Dike 4. Nice job picking up the trash,I like the idea of getting the club
involved. We'll have to meet up and get a tiger/smallie trip in. Won't be much longer now 'til fish on.
