3/27/2009 6:49:00 PMit was carp there everywhere isaw them when i fished the tourney last week . you need to get ya some 1/4 oz black flipin jigs and some black blue lam rage craw chunks pitch and flip red brush. white and green spinnerbaits are producing i got a friend who fishs that lake everyday so iam pretty confident on the bait choice. now i didnt place in the contest but there where a few hogs taken that day and i believe two guys that are members on this site won the club tourney the 2nd day. so be patient concentrate on red brush and the many ditchs there. ive caught big fish in some of the most narley places there. pay attention to water temp also. warmer is better . pitch into any hole you can . use heavy test line also .

3/27/2009 7:09:00 PMdude thank you, i was using a seinko most of the day with 20 lb test braid spiderwire. an thats been my go to for 2 seasons an ive did pretty good with it at lake lawrence an lake saint clair but at silver, NOTA! hahaha thanks man i appreciate the input
