sharpshooter223. I talked to an older couple at pond #4 a couple of days ago and they told me that a guy caught some really nice crappie in that pond using a jig and worm. I caught a lot of panfish on thursday of this last week while the barometer was stable and the water temp was over 53 degrees. I called off my trip today because the barometer took a nose dive right during the time that my moon table chart said should have been the peak of the bite. The action the other day was awesome, but the fish were in one very specific area and if you missed that zone on your cast, you wouldn't get a bite. yea, i had seen your report so i had decided to go give it a try. then i saw the weather and figured as i headed out that they would be pretty scattered, but i was glad just to get out of the water.
