Went around near Flowing Lake and Chain lake, however, found Storm lake. Its a nice lake a very managable for most fisherman. However, as I was about to leave I was informed that the lake is closed till the season starts. Stupid move on my part, but no info on it being open or closed anywhere. None the less, I got a solid 2 hours of fishing in. I tried trolling a Black Wooley on a full sink line near the boat launch area, no strikes. I switched to an Olive Wooley and trolled that in the same area for a while also, no strikes either. After this I switched to my bass outfit and messed around my the down tree structure near the southwest area of the lake. I had two good strikes on a chartouse tricky worm, couldnt land any though.

Lake still seems to be cold, yet saw signs of life, with a few fish rising while I was there. Also while talking with a local they seemed to just have stocked the lake, so pleanty of trout when the season opens.
