Fished at 1pm till 5pm caught and released 15 to 20 trout no small mouth.fished the south east end did well ,moved to the south west side of the island in 5 to 18 ft of water .the triploids have hung out there for a month now .I caught several fish in the 2 to 4lb range there. I used a flat fish in the rainbow pattern and yozuri plugs in the purple scale color. Didn't need to fish anything else. Everyone I spoke to were only doing fair. I always use fluorocarbon leader and lots of line out with crave natural attractant. Go slow that's the key ,if you think your going to slow then your at the right speed (I have a minn kota 40lb thrust motor and run it on 1 most of the time. If you get hits and no fish jerk it a couple of times when you get hit they will come back and explode on it .
I have an old blue fiberglass boat and I always fish alone so if you see it stop by and ask me info or follow me around ,I wont let you down.
