Well I got out to the lake and in the water just before day break. Fished until 12:30 tryed to troll with pop gear and a worm but forgot my electric trolling motor and couldnt go slow enough. I fished just up from the public boat launch on the same on that same side. I fished with a very small dick nite silver and charchuse tipped at the bottom got 3 fish 2 small about 8-9 inches which I let go and one nice 14incher which I put in my friends floating basket. I would have a pic but when we went to move spots I didnt pull the basket in the boat like my friend told me too and I lost my fish. Oh well lesson learned listen to your elders. I watched people get them on rainbow power bait, trolling with pop gear and worms, wedding rings, worms, dick nites, and flys wooly bugers black and olive green. 12 plus fisherman and women were out. Seen one 3 pounder caught. All in all a great day fishing. Oh and they have planted with trips just couldnt get any to bite. Should be better by mid week when they get use to the water. About 1pm when I was tying down the boat they were starting to top the water. Also just a friendly reminder of respect at the boat launch. Pull off out of the way and get your boat ready to launch dont do it infront of the launch. When you pull out of the water move out of the way so others can do the same or launch before you tie down and stow your gear. Thanks

thank you very much for the report. I've been waiting to hear ANYTHING on Flowing this year. sounds like it's time to get out there and give it a try. good advice on the launch. a little courtesy goes a long way.

Im opretty sure flowing lake is closed until las sat in april

Flowing Lake is not listed in the WDFW special rules section of the regs, therefore it should be open year-round.

Flowing lake is open year round and isnt listed with any restictions in the fishing regs.

ldstud is correct. the lake is open year round. it receives plants from the same sportsman's club that stocks blackman's as well as the state.I'm off tomorrow and can't wait to get out there! tight lines and be safe.

Big Mike there are 2 maybe 3 clubs that stock that lake but there both part of the puget sound anglers. The snohomish club and the Everett Steelhead and salmon club which Im a memeber the have kid fishing events all over the area all but one I know of is free. The clubs also ran the fishing pond at sportsmans show when it was at Evergreen state fair grounds to find these events just look at the web site www.esscwa.com. Great luck to all on the water. Love to fish and will share what I learn about these waters
