Some buddies and i went out to rock lake today. We left cheney at 9am and arrived shortly thereafter to the south end (the bridge and boat launch). Will and i had chest high waders on which was really helpful. We began with some green and red wedding ring silver bladed spinners, got a few bites then it all stopped. Took a break talked to some people who pointed us toward the north waters from the bridge and/or underneath it. we took there advise. Within 20 minutes i caught this small brook trout on a small green w/ black spots and salmon eggs spinner. I was told by a gentlman to grabb one of his triple bladed gold single hook spinners from his box, i did so. I also put two salmon eggs on this went underneath the bridge and to the center and cast down stream a few times. thats when this nice 2lb rainbow hit and hit hard. i only fought it for about 5 or 6 min. but thats cause i was more than excited. I've been catchless since October. Anyway goodluck everyone.
