Fished Lost Lake with Will, Tallcanman and Fishbonker.
I tried trolling a dick nite, worms and tube jigs. Nothing worked for me. I saw about 50 cormorants flying and swimming around the lake. I am starting to think they read the stocking reports as well. I also spotted two nice Largemouth sitting under a log trying to warm up. They took off when the Jetskiers went by.
Other than the waves from the Jetskis, and the poor fishing it was a really nice day on the water. I think this lake is too small for speedboats etc. There should be a minimum size of atleast 200 acres before they allow that stuff.
Fishbonker had all the luck today as he was able to finish off a limit with a nice one caught right off the boat launch as we were leaving. Tallcanman also got one stocker, the hot bait was powereggs.
