A friend and I launched the boat around 8 a.m. We floated in the North Cove for about an hour. After neither bites, nor fish, we headed to the pump in the middle of the lake. We stuck to that area for about an hour and a half. After neither bites, nor fish, we drifted with the wind for another couple of hours. After neither bites, nor fish, we trolled around what seemed to be the entire lake. And, you guessed it, neither bites, nor fish.

We tried everything: spinners, worms on the bottom, power eggs, power bait, bobbers w/ worms, spoons, EVERYTHING!

Oh well, at least I caught a pretty good sunburn. Recall that on this day, temps nearly reached 70 degrees and not a cloud was in the sky. Had fun anyway!

Stevens is a hit-or-miss type of lake. Not sure why. Most of the time I either catch lots of fish or don't catch squat...

I don't know if I should be relieve or not. My son and I debated between Stevens and Flowing...went to Flowing. Unfortunately, my report is identical just replacing Flowing for Stevens. I did see a few caught by fly rod.
