A beautiful day on the Rufus Wood. Got on the water around 1030ish and ran up to the lower pens. only one hit, and I missed it, at the pens. We then motored down to the cabin Hole, picked up several there, Kept1, released the others. Motored down around pump #1, and picked up several more, and kept two. Wife had her limit, and I was satisfied with the day, so we headed on in. Used spoons and jigs today with White and Pink jigs accounting for the majority of the hits. Water temp 40.3 degrees. Saw several Bald Eagle pairs, and one Osprey that plucked a fair sized trout from the water. Day ended with several songdogs welcoming the evening. Marked lots of fish in the 25-40 feet range but couldn't get them to bite. Caught most of the fish today in 8-15 feet of water, fishing slow. Remember the sunscreen when you go out, the reflective factor is quite high. Stay safe and good luck on the water.
